This putter has it all . This Timberwolf style putter has classy Canarywood top and faceplate with classic Hard Maple for the main body and even some Lacewood for the inlay. Featuring a medium mallet head style (3.25" deep x 3.5" wide), this mallet putter gives a nice solid mallet look without being overly large. Our Timberwolf putters combine a modern trapazoid head with the classic wood look to give a utterly original look. The attention to detail in its finish showcases the dedication to perfection that Timbertouch Putterworks is renowned for.
Our Timberwolf putters are aimed toward the heavier end of the putter head weight spectrum (most modern putter heads weigh between 330 to 375 grams). This head is 400 grams, which some golfers prefer due to it helping take out some unwanted wrist movement). Equipped with a triple bend shaft that brings the face in line with the putter grip; this helps aligning the ball and instills confidence when standing over the putt. Face-balanced design ensures maximum control and precision, allowing you to feel every stroke with confidence and grace.
But it's not just about aesthetics. The wood and laser etched face plate grips the ball upon contact and helps the ball to start rolling more quickly. This eliminates sliding which causes poor ball tracking. The wood face allows a softer feel, giving more forgiveness on fast greens and has a satisfying, organic sound upon striking the ball.
Each putter head is hard, weather grade polyurethane coated eight times and is sanded to a glass-like finish with 9 grades of sandpaper, ending at an ultra fine 12,000 grit paper. This gives a finish that is perfectly smooth, with a shine that is beautiful, but not so glossy as to distract when putting.

This putter is offered with our beautiful Timbertouch oversized grip. Shaft offerings are standard Chromed steel or Flat black painted steel. Please keep in mind that the flat black is beautiful, but may have very slight mat/gloss variances due to the nature of black mat paint.
Custom engraving option: If you would like to custom engrave your putter, we can do this! All engraving is limited to designs or text that is monochromatic and has line thickness appropriate for engraving in wood. We will contact you to discuss option and locations.
Please keep in mind, all putter heads are custom works of art. All critical areas insuring perfect roll and feel are CAD designed and CNC (computer numeric control) machined to verify perfect weight placement and faceplate finish. Outer areas that do not affect function but tie into the incredible look our putters have is hand finished and will have variances. Wood grain varies and hand sanding will gives the hand finished look we want. Expect some slight variation to each putter, as it is a function of the look we desire. Our hope is that with the detailed photo work we do, each customer will be receive a putter that meets or exceeds exceptions for years to come.
