It all started with a suggestion

On a father/son golf trip down south, while at a golf course part owned by Payton Manning, my son suggested I start making wood putters. As a VP of Engineering and artist, this seemed like a really good idea.

They needed to be pro quality

The number after the name shows the amount of versions we trialed to get to the look, balance, roll and finish we deemed "pro quality". The Woodwin style putters had 12 versions prior to our released "Woodwin #13"

Start with the best wood

You cannot make the best putters without perfect wood. Being up north, we can enjoy the best domestic and exotic wood selections. Everything we use is tested and putted on our putting green and verified for feel, toughness, and roll.

Everything has to be precision

All designs were CAD designed, CNC (computer) machined, weighted to allow proper balancing, laser engraved and hard coated and polished. Beauty without precision is of no value.

Can't be a gimmick

If these didn't putt well, the experiment would have ended long ago. But upon MUCH work, these putters hit better than the mass produced, overseas made, BIG name putters. These are completely made in small town USA and truly one of a kind.

Why wood?

First of all, it works great. If you struggle with hitting the ball too far on fast greens, these putters help. The face has a bit of softness that gives more window for putting and helps get the ball rolling more quickly (metal face putters cause slide and bad roll). And our putters sound better.

Will it last?

Do baseball bats dent when hit with a 100 mph fastball. No. Quality wood will give and return to the original shape. We only use face plates from wood that is resilient and tough. All materials used for hitting surfaces are extensively trialed and give the roll and feel we demand.

Beautifully Finished

After being fully machined, weighted, laser engraved and 1st sanded; then the coating starts. We use 8+ coats of hard acrylic and urethane to fully protect these putters and allow secondary fine sanding to give a glass like finish. Spectacular.

A piece of art that you can use and enjoy

This is a labor of love that we want to share. Please purchase one of our putters and enjoy using a piece of art that works better than your mass produced prior stick and get the attention of all at the course.
